About

I'm Francisco. I live in Lisbon, work at IBM, and spend most of my time around cloud architecture, infrastructure, and AI.

A lot of my work starts before anything is built. A customer has a workload, a few constraints, an existing environment, and a target they need to reach. My job is to make the technical path clear: what runs where, how it connects, how it is secured, how it fails, and what needs to be automated. I like architecture that is easy to explain, easy to challenge, and possible to operate.

I studied Information Technology @ Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, with a minor in Statistics and Operations Research. After that, I completed a Master's in Information Management at NOVA IMS.

Outside of work, I stay active through running and previously played competitive rugby. I'm also interested in entrepreneurship, financial markets, health & fitness, travelling, and spending time in the ocean whenever I get the chance to surf.
